About The Role

Tempo is in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic, and collaborative Sales Associate to join our retail leadership team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in implementing our retail strategy by managing the sales floor and providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure operational excellence and drive company growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team and assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including store upkeep and adherence to policies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by demonstrating a thorough understanding of Tempo's offerings and technology.
  • Implement Tempo's retail sales strategy through engaging customer interactions and personalized follow-ups.
  • Enhance sales through exceptional customer service; engage with customers to understand their unique fitness aspirations and educate them on how Tempo can support their goals.
  • Exhibit best practices during product demonstrations with both scheduled and walk-in customers; mentor and develop team members to foster growth.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify business trends and innovate strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Utilize performance metrics to identify opportunities within the sales process and implement best practices to enhance sales and brand visibility.
  • Employ CRM tools to maintain customer data, preferences, and feedback to optimize lead conversion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in technology, fitness, or premium retail.
  • Previous experience in retail leadership is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences that foster brand loyalty and drive sales success.
  • Team-oriented with a strong motivation to exceed sales targets and inspire colleagues.
  • Personable, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and retail strategies.
  • Resilient; capable of transforming challenging situations into positive outcomes.
  • Availability to work a standard retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for fitness and technology.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and productivity tools is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock and products as needed.
