Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing profitable new business opportunities that can be transitioned to our Territory Managers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and pursuing high-potential new business opportunities
  • Developing and presenting compelling offerings to prospective accounts
  • Working with Category and Segment Specialists to create order guides and pricing for prospective accounts
  • Completing new customer credit application forms and ensuring a smooth on-boarding process
  • Maintaining full understanding of company IT tools and utilizing Company-approved data base for lead generation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience opening accounts greater than $0.5m, preferably in foodservice industry
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills and proven ability to warm, convert, and close high-potential new street accounts
