The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing established and new customers to achieve sales and profitability goals. This role involves selling food and non-food items, leveraging resources to assist with top penetration opportunities, and managing deliveries to the routing schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary
Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and leveraging market intelligence databases
Drive motor vehicle to existing customers and prospects to ensure product delivery
Requirements
1+ year of sales experience preferred
Foodservice industry experience preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
Problem-solving ability and organization skills
Proficient computer skills and experience using customer relationship management tools
