Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Boy Scouts of America as a National Retail Sales Manager in the Northwest Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales operations across 8 retail stores, driving financial growth, and developing high-performing store managers.

About the Role

  • You will oversee sales activities at multiple retail locations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory targets, drive revenue growth, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of store managers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Forecasting and budgeting: Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts, annual budgets, and operational plans to drive business growth.
  2. Store performance management: Conduct regular store visits, provide constructive feedback, and coach store managers to improve sales performance, customer service, and employee engagement.
  3. Sales strategy development: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to develop effective sales strategies that meet or exceed territory targets.
  4. Talent management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop store managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to excel in their roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, or sales.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a multi-store retail environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing high-performing teams, and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with store managers, colleagues, and external partners.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $105,000 per annum, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
