Media Sales Strategist

**Job Summary**
Salem Media Group is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our growing on-air and digital sales team as a Media Sales Strategist / Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media, with a strong understanding of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Prospect for local and regional businesses, reaching decision makers and setting meetings to analyze client needs and create compelling advertising presentations.
• Research and stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities, creating strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision makers.
• Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and exceed annual budgets.
• Develop a business marketing strategy for local and regional clients, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work with a diverse group of clients, utilizing Microsoft business software and quickly learning new software applications for prospecting and market insights.
**Requirements**
• A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in on-air and online media.
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
• Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, Website Development, and other digital marketing channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people.
• Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of clients and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft business software and ability to quickly learn new software applications.
