The selected candidate will spearhead sales and event strategies for a prominent hotel with extensive meeting facilities.

Responsibilities include collaborating with strategic partners to develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns, overseeing the production of sales materials, crafting and executing a comprehensive social media plan, and managing the coordination of events, meetings, and catering services.

Compensation:
$85,000 - $95,000 plus performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
Service: Engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience.
Prepare and manage sales agreements, event documentation, and group summaries to guarantee high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Provide financial oversight for the sales department, including forecasting Group and Catering Revenue, participating in the annual budgeting process, and preparing for financial assessments at both the property and corporate levels.


Perseverance:

Actively pursue all viable business opportunities within designated accounts or segments, including responding to inquiries, soliciting customers, and building relationships.

Meet individual and team productivity targets.

Serve as a key member of the Revenue Strategy Team alongside the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management, contributing to pricing, inventory, and marketing strategies.

Act as the liaison between the property and the Enterprise Sales Organization, ensuring effective communication of strategies and hotel information, and co-signing all sales agreements.

Generate new group leads through proactive outreach using various resources, including online platforms, third-party vendors, and brand resources.

Engage with the local community to enhance the hotel's visibility through approved memberships, charitable activities, and participation in business events.


Teamwork:
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the hotel's objectives.

Maintain an organized system for tracking sales activities to ensure all interactions are documented and updated appropriately.

Participate in mandatory company meetings, including daily operations briefings, business reviews, revenue strategy sessions, and budget discussions.

Be open to additional responsibilities as needed to support the hotel's goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing
3+ years of experience leading a sales and catering team or similar group
Proven expertise with industry-specific sales tools, including Microsoft Office and CI/TY, particularly in managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
