We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in enhancing Sales and Marketing initiatives within the hospitality sector to fulfill the role of Director of Sales and Marketing.

The selected candidate will spearhead sales and event operations for a prominent hotel with extensive meeting facilities.

Collaboration with strategic partners will be essential to develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns, oversee the production of sales materials, establish a dynamic social media presence, and manage the execution of events, meetings, and catering services.

Compensation:
$85,000 - $95,000 plus performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
Service: Engage with guests to ensure a pleasant experience.
Prepare and manage sales agreements, event orders, and group resumes to guarantee quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Provide financial oversight for the sales department, including forecasting Group and Catering Revenue, participating in the annual budgeting process, and preparing for financial evaluations at both property and corporate levels.


Perseverance:

Actively pursue viable business opportunities within designated accounts or segments, including responding to inquiries, soliciting customers, and building relationships.

Meet individual and team productivity targets.

Serve as a key member of the Revenue Strategy Team alongside the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management, contributing to pricing, inventory, and marketing strategies.

Act as the liaison between the property and the Enterprise Sales Organization, ensuring effective communication of strategies and hotel information.

Oversee property-level Sales and Events staff, ensuring they understand employment practices, recommending hiring decisions, and supporting performance management.

Generate new group leads through proactive outreach utilizing various resources, including online platforms and industry connections.

Engage with the local community to enhance the hotel's visibility through approved memberships and participation in community events.


Teamwork:
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the hotel's objectives.

Maintain an organized system for tracking sales activities and ensure all interactions are documented appropriately.

Participate in essential company meetings, including daily operations, business reviews, revenue strategy sessions, and budget discussions.

Be open to additional responsibilities as needed to support the hotel's goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing
3+ years in a leadership role managing a sales and catering team
Proven experience with industry-specific sales tools, including Microsoft Office and CI/TY, particularly in managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
