We are seeking a driven and analytical professional with a strong background in enhancing Sales and Marketing initiatives within the hospitality sector to fill the role of Director of Sales and Marketing.
The successful candidate will spearhead sales and event operations for a prominent hotel, overseeing its extensive accommodations and meeting facilities.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with strategic partners to develop and implement effective marketing and advertising campaigns, managing the creation of sales materials, executing a comprehensive social media strategy, and coordinating events, meetings, and catering services.

$85,000 - $95,000 plus performance bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
Service: Engage with guests to ensure exceptional experiences.
Prepare and manage sales contracts, event orders, and group resumes to guarantee high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Provide financial oversight for the sales function, including forecasting Group and Catering Revenue, participating in the annual budgeting process, and preparing for financial reviews.
Perseverance:
Actively pursue business opportunities within designated accounts or segments, including responding to inquiries, soliciting customers, and building relationships.
Achieve both individual and team productivity targets.Serve as a key member of the Revenue Strategy Team alongside the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management, contributing to pricing, inventory, and marketing strategies.
Act as the liaison between the property and the Enterprise Sales Organization, ensuring effective communication of strategies and hotel information.

Collaborate effectively to achieve the hotel's objectives.
Maintain an organized system for tracking sales activities and ensure all interactions are documented.
Participate in standard company meetings, including daily operations, business reviews, and budget discussions.
Be open to additional responsibilities as needed to support the hotel's goals.Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing
3+ years of experience leading a sales and catering team or similar group
Proven experience with industry-specific sales tools and software, particularly in managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
