Position Overview:

The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue within the Wholesale Feed Division. This position requires a strong focus on cultivating and sustaining customer relationships, comprehending their requirements, and effectively promoting products to achieve sales objectives.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, flexible hours based on customer needs.

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus commission, with an estimated annual income of $60,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Development:
  • Identify and engage potential clients within the agricultural sector.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to gauge the needs and preferences of agricultural customers.
  • Sales Presentations:
    • Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight agricultural products.
    • Emphasize product features, advantages, and value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with clients to secure sales.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and post-sale.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with both existing and new agricultural clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales Tracking:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions and transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in agricultural sales or a comparable role.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural products, practices, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Preferred: 5 years of sales experience in agricultural sales or a similar capacity.
Additional Information:

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. This role involves minimal office work, with the majority of tasks performed in the field. Willingness to travel is essential.
