Agricultural Sales Consultant: The Agricultural Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in enhancing sales within the Wholesale division. This position focuses on establishing and nurturing customer relationships, comprehending their requirements, and advocating products to achieve sales objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Development:
  • Identify and target potential clients within the agricultural sector.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to grasp the needs and preferences of agricultural customers.
  • Sales Demonstrations:
    • Create and present engaging sales demonstrations to highlight agricultural offerings.
    • Emphasize product features, advantages, and value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to finalize sales agreements.
  • Secure sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the transaction.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with both existing and new agricultural clients.
  • Provide continuous support and assistance to address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales Documentation:
  • Maintain precise records of sales activities, including client interactions and sales transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise and execute sales strategies.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in agricultural sales or a comparable role.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural products, practices, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Preferred: 5 years of sales experience in agricultural sales or a similar position.
Additional Notes: A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required. This role involves minimal office work, with the majority of tasks performed on the road. Willingness to travel is essential.
