Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Doubletree Columbia. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Assist with guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services and amenities, and make recommendations to enhance their stay.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with personalized recommendations.
  • Work effectively with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Perform cash handling duties, including processing payments, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
