Position Summary: The Electrical Installation Project Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the industrial electrical installations across various project sites, leveraging expertise in construction management and contract fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise multiple high-complexity projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Lead the electrical construction team, which includes both company personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage the planning, tracking, and reporting of electrical engineering and interconnection tasks.
  • Establish project budgets and estimate requirements for both internal and external engineering efforts.
  • Conduct and oversee electrical and structural feasibility studies, including system analysis and design calculations.
  • Address the operational and construction needs of the organization.
  • Support the planning and scoping of new facilities and system enhancements.
  • Assist with corporate, state, and local permitting processes related to project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define and implement work requirements for high voltage interconnection and transmission projects.
  • Maintain safe vehicle operation and navigation skills, including map reading.
  • Be available for weekend and holiday work as necessary.
  • Travel extensively to diverse locations, including international and rural areas, for project assignments.

Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of electrical education.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be accountable for team and individual results.
  • Strong motivational skills to encourage high performance standards among team members.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively for safe and efficient job performance.
  • Familiarity with various computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and PLS CADD is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
  • Capability to navigate and work in remote field locations under challenging weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk, hike, and work on steep and rough terrain for extended periods.
  • Proficient in operating 4WD light vehicles on both highways and off-road.
  • Frequent climbing of ladders and working from elevated platforms is required.
  • Protective equipment and fire-retardant clothing must be worn during certain duties.
  • Job entails sitting 20% of the time and standing 80% of the time.
