About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman to join our team at BrightView Landscapes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the installation of upgrades for commercial landscape maintenance accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Complete job site checklists to ensure all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Oversee the installation of required materials for landscaping, irrigation, and site development.
  • Schedule deliveries of materials and equipment to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor crew production rates, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Assist in job scheduling and coordination of subcontractors.
  • Ensure all employees are attending weekly tailgate meetings and operating safely at all times.
  • Review potential traffic hazards, perform hard hat checks, and safety gear checks.
  • Maintain a hazardous communication folder and submit accident reports according to company policy.
  • Report reckless or dangerous activities to the job superintendent and notify the safety office of any accidents.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of blueprints and ability to lead others and manage crews.
  • Ability to be certified in first aid and possess effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in extreme conditions, including temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. and load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto a trailer.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day.
