We are currently seeking a Construction Project Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction activities, ensuring the safe execution of significant projects. This role will involve managing the replacement of essential infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety and environmental compliance in all project activities.
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence, dedicating a significant portion of the workday to field operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of work and materials provided by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Verify that all products and services meet the specified requirements and perform as intended.
  • Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure compliance by all suppliers.
  • Provide timely quality inspection reports and status updates to management.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and safety personnel regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company's Supplemental Terms & Conditions, particularly those related to safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of power generation facilities and related processes.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, equipment usage, and scheduling.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Competence in reviewing construction specifications and comparing them with actual work products.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and prepare concise reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in industrial settings.
