The selected candidate will have prior experience as a superintendent within the last five years. The Assistant Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Lead Superintendent to ensure that projects adhere to timelines and that quality standards are consistently met or surpassed. The ideal applicant should possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced scheduling environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all facets and trades involved in building construction.
- Analyze specifications and scopes of work to devise construction procedures, ensuring compliance with start and finish times, safety protocols, quality standards, and staffing/subcontractor needs for each construction phase.
- Forecast project requirements effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times.
- Conduct daily site inspections to assess subcontractor work for quality and adherence to schedules.
- Interpret blueprints, review specifications, and analyze scopes of work.
- Prepare or evaluate reports on project progress, materials utilized, punch lists, and photographic documentation, adjusting work schedules as necessary.
- Manage daily documentation using BuilderTrend.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and team members, while effectively engaging with city and county entities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats with office personnel, clients, subcontractors, inspectors, architects, and others.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members working under their supervision.
- Assist the project manager with Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Plan for upcoming construction activities (e.g., three-week look-ahead schedule) to ensure smooth transitions between tasks.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in construction
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Construction Management Software
