Job Overview

The International Partner Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting various programs under the HSFTIC Contract, including the International Space Station, Gateway, Commercial Lower Earth Orbit (Comm LEO), and the Extravehicular and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for Payload Developers, managing identity requests and facilitating the onboarding process.
  • Acts as the primary contact for troubleshooting issues related to International and External Partners.
  • Conducts reporting and validation for VPN and user access on a regular and as-needed basis.
  • Participates in the Enterprise Services Integration Meeting (ESIM) weekly and the Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) monthly meetings to represent the interests of the HSFTIC-supported program.
  • Completes the annual review of ISS IT Security Training.
  • Oversees the management and administration of RSA Tokens and addresses issues with Pulse Secure.
  • Engages in application testing for select VPN Profiles.
  • Contributes to the annual test failover at the White Sands Test facility for International and External Partner access to ISS Applications.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, and a keen interest in IT operations. The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively is essential. Experience with both Windows and Mac support is required.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in IT customer support, help desk, or application support roles, particularly with external users, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a background in developing and adhering to IT procedures and work instructions.

Educational Background:

A BS/BA degree in a relevant information technology field or equivalent experience in a related area is required.
