As a Client Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to address customer inquiries, ensuring alignment with VSP Vision's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to a variety of customer inquiries, ranging from simple to complex, from members, clients, providers, and internal/external partners via multiple communication channels including phone, in-person, and email.
2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of VSP Vision's offerings, including prescriptions, plans, products, services, and procedures.
3. Maintain knowledge of online purchasing, e-commerce, and payment processing to assist customers effectively.
4. Accurately complete necessary documentation and process forms, ensuring quality assurance in company software.
5. Investigate and resolve customer issues, providing appropriate solutions while educating customers on the value of VSP's products and services.
6. Identify customer trends and communicate insights to relevant business units, suggesting necessary improvements.
7. Stay updated on changes to customer service policies and product information to ensure accurate responses to inquiries.
8. Attend benefit fairs and client meetings as required, representing VSP Vision and providing information to attendees.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, particularly in handling moderate to complex inquiries in various industries.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in internet navigation and multiple software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document customer interactions clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with customers.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
