Position Overview:

We are seeking a Hotel Operations Supervisor who will support management in executing a range of administrative and clerical responsibilities.

The role of the Hotel Operations Supervisor encompasses providing assistance to our management team, staff, and guests while addressing daily operational needs.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistently engages with guests and staff in a welcoming and service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Cultivates a supportive and respectful workplace by effectively managing and resolving conflicts.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to interact effectively with guests and various departments.
  • Greets guests warmly and encourages customer loyalty through a friendly approach.
  • Manages office tasks, including filing, report generation, presentation preparation, meeting setup, and supply ordering.
  • Provides real-time scheduling assistance by coordinating appointments and avoiding conflicts.
  • Aids department heads in human resources tasks, scheduling, oversight, and operational support as needed.
  • Assists with payroll processing for staff members.
  • Maintains comprehensive contact lists for all personnel, vendors, and emergency situations.
  • Prepares and processes invoices across all departments.
  • Ensures professional communication through phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Integrates and trains new employees, offering support for skill enhancement.
  • Ensures team members are well-informed about hotel offerings, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and local attractions.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of all systems and standard operating procedures across departments.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service is necessary, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
