Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including transporting patients and equipment, setting up patient rooms, and performing clerical tasks.
  • Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient height and weight, and perform other clinical tasks as needed.
  • Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by healthcare providers and document patient understanding of instructions.
  • Perform routine quality assurance audits, safety checks, and inventory of supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year of related experience or training in a healthcare setting, with exposure to patient registration and/or scheduling
