Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures
Provide a wide range of clerical tasks, including organizing workload, greeting visitors, and maintaining medical records
Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Reinforce routine teaching given to patients by registered nurses or physicians

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Listed as Nurse Aide I Registry with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
One year of clerical or customer service experience and six months of related nursing assistant experience

Work Environment

This position is employed by NC Health, a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System. The work schedule is night job, and the location is US:NC:Lenoir. Exempt from overtime: No.
