Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with various pharmacy tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate Pharmacy Systems: You will be responsible for using our pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will engage with customers and patients, providing a positive and welcoming experience, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Pharmacy: You will ensure the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, and organized, and that all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: You must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and have a high school diploma or equivalent. PTCB or ExCPT certification is preferred.
  • Experience: We prefer candidates with six months of experience in a retail environment and prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Skills: You should have good math skills, be able to work accurately and efficiently, and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
