Position Title: Patient Care Assistant

Organization: UNC Health - Caldwell Memorial Hospital

Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Patient Care Assistant, you will be instrumental in aiding professional healthcare providers in the delivery of patient services. Your duties will encompass assisting with medical examinations, ensuring patient rooms are orderly, and offering administrative support. Additionally, you will engage in clinical assistance tasks and participate in direct patient care activities.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of High School diploma or GED
  • Certification as Nurse Aide I Registry
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year in clerical or customer service roles and 6 months of experience as a nursing assistant
  • Proficiency in English language

  • Compensation: $22.48 per hour
  • Work Assignment: Onsite
  • Schedule: Night Shift
  • Location: Lenoir, North Carolina
