Overview:

We are looking for a proficient and adaptable Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Field Engineer to enhance our operations at Leader Recruitment Group.
The ideal candidate should have a robust foundation in electrical and instrumentation technologies, along with substantial experience in the installation, commissioning, and upkeep of industrial equipment. The successful applicant will also bring expertise in PLC programming and SCADA systems integration, alongside providing mechanical assistance for operational processes.


Core Responsibilities:

Installation:

● Execute the installation, configuration, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems, including wiring, control mechanisms, sensors, and transmitters.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications during all installations.

Commissioning:

● Conduct start-up procedures for new systems and equipment, verifying their operational efficiency.
● Perform functional tests and troubleshooting to confirm system performance and reliability.

Maintenance:

● Formulate and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation apparatus.
● Carry out routine inspections and predictive maintenance to detect potential issues before they escalate.

Troubleshooting:

● Identify and rectify electrical and instrumentation faults, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
● Utilize technical documentation, schematics, and diagnostic tools for effective problem resolution.

Mechanical Assistance:

● Provide mechanical support for various plant equipment, including rotating machinery, pumps, and compressors.
● Aid in the mechanical installation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring proper functionality.

PLC and SCADA Systems:

● Possess a foundational understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to facilitate troubleshooting and diagnostics.
● Ensure the integration of PLCs with plant control systems and SCADA systems.

SCADA Management:

● Implement and sustain SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control of operational processes.
● Maintain data integrity and system reliability for optimal plant performance.

Documentation:

● Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for installed systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals.
● Regularly update maintenance logs, service reports, and calibration records.

Safety and Compliance:

● Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during installation, maintenance, and servicing activities.
● Ensure adherence to environmental and industry standards.

Collaboration and Training:

● Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure efficient project execution and operational continuity.
● Coordinate with management and production teams to minimize disruptions.

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
● Relevant certifications in electrical and instrumentation fields.
● A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial context.

Technical Proficiencies:

● Expertise in electrical and instrumentation installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
● Familiarity with PLC programming languages and SCADA integration.
