Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by managing daily account activities including billing, policy modifications, updates to the agency management system, and claims processing.
  • Assess and provide suitable client service support for both new and existing clients to foster strong relationships and enhance retention; respond promptly to inquiries from clients and carriers while maintaining and improving agency relationships through proactive communication.
  • Process endorsements, certificates, and evidence of property, ensuring compliance through contract reviews and special requests.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to identify client needs and potential cross-selling opportunities; enhance existing accounts by recognizing coverage gaps and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all policies and endorsements received from insurance providers.
  • Manage the renewal process efficiently by reviewing accounts nearing expiration and gathering necessary information from clients to ensure timely policy renewals.
  • Engage in seminars, training, and continuing education to maintain required licenses and enhance professional skills.

Qualifications
  • Active Property & Casualty Agent/Producer License is mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an Independent Agency is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, along with familiarity with PDF editing tools, Docusign, Epay, and Zoom.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with agency management software, particularly EPIC, is advantageous.
  • A college degree is preferred.
