About the Role

Avery Products Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain our IT systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Network Management: Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Help Desk Support: Provide support to employees via phone, email, or in-person, resolving technical issues and providing guidance on IT-related matters.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with team members, ensuring a high level of technical expertise within the department.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in technical support, system administration, and network management.
  • Skills: Excellent technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Server, Office Suite, and Office 365. Knowledge of networking and related services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall, WAN, and Cisco network switch.
