The Sales Representative is tasked with driving and securing sales within designated control state markets. This role encompasses the acquisition of new clients and the management of existing accounts within a specified territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to established protocols and strategies to effectively market and sell the company's products within a defined geographic area or a set of customer accounts to achieve sales objectives.
Engage with potential leads, conduct personal visits to both current and prospective clients, evaluate customer requirements, and recommend suitable products and services.
Enhance sales expertise and understanding of the company's offerings and clientele by collaborating with seasoned sales professionals.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
May involve merchandising tasks to support account servicing, including organizing product displays, maintaining inventory, and ensuring optimal product placement.
Job responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends for promotional events and other account-related activities.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred; or a combination of education and relevant experience. A valid state driver's license and compliance with vehicle insurance standards as defined by the company and state regulations are necessary. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Demonstrated capability to formulate sales strategies aimed at boosting wine and spirit sales.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with management, peers, and clients across all levels of the organization.
- Candidate must be at least 21 years old.
