Job Description

Panco Operations is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team.

We are a leading provider of residential experiences, and we are committed to delivering exceptional results. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with audits and other external reporting requirements.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Verify and process intercompany transactions for payroll, T&E, and fees.
  • Cash Management: Assist with daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash flows, and preparing cash reports.
  • Bank Relationships: Assist with managing bank relationships, including account openings, maintenance, and closing.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review reports for senior management, including cash forecasts, liquidity reports, and bank fee analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on intercompany transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounts payable automation software.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
