Key Responsibilities:
Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to one direct report, ensuring their career development aligns with team objectives and organizational standards.

Monthly Financial Close:
Actively participate in all facets of the monthly financial close process.

Audit Coordination:
Collaborate with the Controller to organize audit tasks and provide assistance to ensure the timely completion of audits and interim assessments.

Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:
Support the Controller in preparing the budget and revising forecasts for all General Marketing and Overhead expenses, as well as Balance Sheet and Operating Working Capital.
Oversee and manage payroll for all staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal/state regulations.

Cash Flow Management:
Supervise daily cash management, including the monitoring of daily and weekly cash flows.

Internal Financial Controls:
Develop and uphold effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Tax Compliance:
Collaborate with external tax consultants on quarterly and year-end tax obligations.
Lead additional special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-6 years of relevant experience; CPA certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, including GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
