Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Record fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
- Support monthly/quarterly/year-end financial close processes.
- Conduct financial compliance and regulatory reporting activities.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to accounting regulations and standards.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and precision.
- Monitor and analyze potential unclaimed property liability.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3.2 undergraduate GPA.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (exceptional recent graduates considered).
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with bank reconciliations is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud accounting platforms like Intacct is desired.
