Job Title

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in the weather sector across Southeast Asia. The BDM will play a crucial role in driving expansion by securing new clients and enhancing existing relationships for our suite of environmental solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust sales expertise and a comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement processes within the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a detailed territory strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and assess potential customers and partners within targeted market segments.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders to advocate for our solutions.
  • Promote AEM's extensive range of products and services to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Remain informed about market dynamics and regulatory frameworks to enhance market positioning.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and timely service delivery.
  • Oversee sales activities, forecasts, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and partners.
  • Represent AEM at industry conferences and events.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise sales or business development.
  • Strong background in marketing weather or hydrology solutions in Southeast Asia.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Prior experience in managing complex projects and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.

Additional Information:

This position is remote, ideally suited for candidates located in major urban centers within Southeast Asia.

Willingness to travel up to 50% within Southeast Asia may be necessary.

This is an ongoing opportunity with a compensation range of approximately $100,000 USD plus commission.
