Strategic Partnerships Manager, Southeast Asia

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in the weather sector across Southeast Asia. The BDM will play a crucial role in driving expansion by securing new clients and enhancing existing relationships for our suite of environmental solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust sales expertise and a comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement processes within the ASEAN region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement a detailed territory strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and assess potential customers and partners within targeted market segments.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders to advocate for our solutions.
- Promote AEM's extensive range of products and services to fulfill customer requirements.
- Remain informed about market dynamics and regulatory frameworks to enhance market positioning.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and timely service delivery.
- Oversee sales activities, forecasts, and lead generation initiatives.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and partners.
- Represent AEM at industry conferences and events.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in enterprise sales or business development.
- Strong background in marketing weather or hydrology solutions in Southeast Asia.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Prior experience in managing complex projects and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
Additional Information:
This position is remote, ideally suited for candidates located in major urban centers within Southeast Asia.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within Southeast Asia may be necessary.
This is an ongoing opportunity with a compensation range of approximately $100,000 USD plus commission.
