Position Title: RF Test Engineer
Position Overview:
Oversee critical flight hardware testing documentation for various initiatives, guiding projects from initial concept through to execution. Collaborate closely with the Systems Engineering team to formulate test requirements and verification strategies. Engage with clients to negotiate testing criteria and methodologies, co-developing plans while effectively communicating and reporting on testing progress.
Act as a representative for test engineering during significant program milestones and serve as an expert reviewer during Test Readiness Reviews. Identify and implement testing methodologies and fixtures aimed at risk reduction, prototype development, and requirements validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute RF performance and environmental testing of hardware, including functional assessments, vibration testing, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, and other qualification evaluations.
- Enhance and develop testing capabilities within in-house facilities while collaborating with sister companies to optimize existing testing resources across the organization.
- Work in partnership with various departments, including technicians, product and technical leadership, and program managers.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in hands-on RF testing.
- Experience in designing and developing RF testing architectures.
- Knowledgeable in thermal vibration and shock testing.
Work Environment:
This position is fully on-site, situated in a collaborative office/manufacturing environment with a close-knit team.
