Position Title: RF Test Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to oversee critical flight hardware testing documentation across various initiatives, guiding projects from inception to implementation. This role involves developing testing criteria and validation strategies in close partnership with the Systems Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to define and negotiate testing specifications and methodologies.
- Collaborate on project plans and provide updates on testing progress.
- Represent the testing engineering function during significant program milestones and serve as a subject matter expert during Test Readiness Reviews.
- Identify and establish testing techniques and fixtures to mitigate risks, support prototype development, and validate requirements.
- Conduct RF performance and environmental assessments of hardware, including functional evaluations, vibration tests, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum tests, and other qualification assessments.
- Enhance in-house testing capabilities and coordinate with affiliated companies to utilize existing testing resources effectively.
- Work alongside various departments, including technicians, product and technical leadership, and program managers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in RF testing.
- Expertise in designing and developing RF testing frameworks.
- Experience with thermal vibration and shock testing.
Work Environment:
This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, fully on-site in a collaborative office/manufacturing environment.
