Position Overview:

The selected candidate will oversee customer accounts, manage the entry and prioritization of production jobs, and perform various essential business functions. This role demands a proactive communicator who can serve as a reliable source of information with minimal oversight. Successful collaboration with Operations, Sales, and Customers is crucial for achieving success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and prioritize safety in all tasks.
  • Embody and promote the core values of C-P.
  • Manage Customer Accounts: process orders and ensure follow-up from placement to delivery.
    • Oversee customer accounts, pricing, production orders, and inventory management.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective design, preparation, and implementation of fulfillment processes.
    • Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to analyze customer forecasts and trends.
    • Coordinate the handling of customer complaints and returns with the Quality Department.
    • Establish policies and procedures to enhance customer processing efficiency.
    • Foster customer loyalty through exceptional engagement and service.
    • Support technological and innovative service solutions to facilitate a seamless business experience.
  • Manage Production Job Entry and Prioritization:
    • Analyze demand to align with customer and inventory needs.
    • Create and adjust production schedules as necessary.
    • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of raw materials with the Procurement Team.
    • Proactively manage raw material and finished goods inventories.
    • Align customer demand with operations to ensure timely production and delivery.
    • Implement system and process enhancements related to inventory control and material availability.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, ideally with a focus on managing customer forecasting and demand.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Ability to take on a leadership role and manage the intricacies of customer accounts and projects.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the capability to develop and modify spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiarity with database reporting tools to utilize company ERP data.
  • Ability to tailor reports to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Independent problem-solving skills to make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships within a team setting.
  • Exhibit a positive and adaptable attitude.
