Position Overview:
This role entails managing customer accounts, processing and prioritizing production tasks, and executing other fundamental business operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and a reliable source of timely information, requiring minimal oversight. Successful collaboration with Operations, Sales, and Customers is essential for achieving success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all company safety protocols, prioritizing safety in all tasks.
- Exemplify and promote C-P Core Values.
- Customer Account Management: oversee order processing and follow-up from initial placement to delivery.
- Handle customer accounts, pricing, production orders, and inventory management (VMI).
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective design, preparation, and execution phases of fulfillment.
- Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to assess and analyze customer forecasts and trends.
- Manage customer complaints and returns in conjunction with the Quality Department.
- Establish policies and procedures to enhance customer processing efficiency.
- Foster customer loyalty through exceptional engagement and service.
- Support technological and innovative service solutions to facilitate a seamless business experience.
- Production Job Entry and Prioritization:
- Evaluate demand to fulfill customer and inventory needs.
- Create and adjust production schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of raw materials with the Procurement Team.
- Proactively oversee raw material and finished goods inventories.
- Align customer demand with the operations team to guarantee timely production and delivery.
- Implement system and process enhancements, including inventory control and material availability initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, ideally with a focus on managing customer forecasting and demand data.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate internally and externally, exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to take on a leadership role and manage all aspects of customer accounts and projects.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the capability to develop and modify spreadsheet applications as needed.
- Familiarity with database reporting tools to utilize company ERP data.
- Proficient in customizing reports to meet specific customer requirements.
- Capacity to work independently and analyze issues to make informed business decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships within a team setting.
