Job SummaryThe Utility Sewer Inspection Locator - Field Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting the operator in locating the robot using proper protocols, ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the robot for launch and ensure all necessary protocols are followed.
- Track the robot's location and provide depth and location documentation using a locating receiver.
- Maintain the camera system and related equipment, following established protocols.
- Paint depth on surfaces and document location on flags in the field.
- Assist in driving and fueling the Utility Inspection Trucks and serve as a spotter in tight locations.
- Assist in soldering and repair of the robot and equipment, following safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good, clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Maintain a cooperative, professional, friendly attitude with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel required.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. regularly.
