Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Manager to join our team at Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department within our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Ensure that the department is adequately stocked with merchandise, and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays and presentations that showcase our products in a way that drives sales and customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of sales associates to ensure that they are meeting sales and customer service goals.
  • Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
