American Solar & Roofing, a pioneering company in the solar and roofing sector, is seeking a Chief Operations Executive to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will act as an Integrator within the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, collaborating closely with the CEO/Visionary to guide our organization towards success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold organizational success metrics while managing projects from conception to execution.
  • Champion the company culture and core values across all levels of the organization.
  • Support ongoing business transformation initiatives by defining success metrics and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Develop comprehensive performance metrics and facilitate a system for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
  • Evaluate technology systems to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to prioritize impactful projects that will drive growth over the next few years.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to develop programs that enhance customer experiences.
  • Assist the finance team in building processes that minimize errors and streamline billing cycles.
  • In partnership with ownership, create a performance management system that holds teams accountable to established metrics.
  • Enhance the candidate recruitment process to attract high-quality talent and improve the candidate experience.
  • Support the EOS operating model by leveraging key resources and personnel effectively.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing and business development initiatives, creating systems to enhance their effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations and business management at a senior level.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide projects from idea to implementation.
  • Experience in developing processes and managing change effectively.
  • Strong coaching skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple locations and remote teams.
  • Experience in navigating complex environments and successfully managing upwards.
  • Proficiency in technology systems and aligning processes with these systems.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to executing projects with precision.
  • History of successful vendor negotiations and relationship management.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&Ls and translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in budget creation and driving accountability to those budgets.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and linking plans to measurable outcomes.
  • A capacity to navigate ambiguity and coach others through change.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to previous roles.
  • A record of success with references to support your achievements.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.
