Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Personnel Services. As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing general accounting duties, and maintaining the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports to track the assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities for several entities.
  • General Accounting: Perform general accounting and other related duties, including entering journal entries, coding accounts payable invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare periodic balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts monthly and verify deposits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Customer Management: Invoice and reconcile customer accounts, and manage accounts receivable collections to ensure timely payment.
  • Payment Verification: Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • Experience: Three to five years of accounting experience required.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting, understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
