Role Summary:
The Healthcare Account Manager is tasked with driving growth and profitability within designated territories by delivering exceptional service and resolving issues. This position does not entail ownership of specific accounts; instead, close collaboration with physician account executives is vital to uphold our collaborative selling approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing business assessments of service, logistics, and supplies to identify customer needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer retention.
  • Drive growth within assigned Key Accounts.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling in partnership with Physician Account Executives or Specialty Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Physician Account Executives to address account-specific service challenges.
  • Work with the Customer Solutions Group to prioritize and resolve customer service issues.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues as necessary.
  • Utilize all available resources, including data, sales portals, marketing, laboratory, and regional resources.
  • Provide ongoing education to customers regarding new technologies and laboratory testing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Follow up with communications to Physician Account Executives and customers.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in sales or account management.

Knowledge:
Familiarity with the healthcare industry and the economic principles of business.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships; excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree (Required).

License/Travel:
Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the regional market.
