About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Patient Coordinator to join our team at Benevis. As a key member of our dental office, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth experience for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Patient Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with the Orthodontic Financial Coordinator and Doctors to provide same-day care when possible.
  • Communication: Ensure parents who are waiting are kept informed of the progress of their appointment or child, and maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure all patient files are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Collect payments, post accordingly in the practice management system, and confirm appointments for upcoming days.
  • Community Involvement: Participate in local community affairs and events to promote a positive image of Benevis and support our mission to create happy, healthy smiles.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or retail environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, parents, and staff.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
