Job Summary

MIDLAND PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES PLLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our young patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners in delivering quality care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Facilitate Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage Patient Records: Accurately and efficiently maintain patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
  • Experience: Minimum of six months experience working as an RN/LVN; one year of experience in a Pediatric office setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records charting software.
