Position Overview:

The Client Manager (Automotive) plays a pivotal role in delivering BSI's audit services to a designated client base, ensuring compliance with all BSI, scheme, and regulatory standards. This position is essential for guaranteeing timely and cost-effective service delivery that meets our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with qualifications and contractual obligations as determined by the planning team.
  • Engage with clients to confirm appointments, organize assessments, arrange travel logistics, conduct evaluations, and manage reporting outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor client accounts to maintain accurate records, manage visit schedules, handle invoicing, and address related matters to uphold client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the training pathway established by the Scheme Director to achieve assessor and subsequently Lead Assessor status, based on the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Lead audit teams as required, providing mentorship and guidance to new or less experienced colleagues to fulfill business objectives.
  • Participate in necessary training sessions and comply with all BSI procedures, policies, and processes regarding client management and home-office operations.
  • Execute additional tasks as necessary to achieve assessment delivery goals.
Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a university degree in Engineering or Technology, or a college degree (AA or higher) alongside relevant certification or experience. A minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering is required. Candidates must be certified auditors in International Standards, specifically IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, with preferred qualifications in EHS (ISO 14001 & ISO). A foundational understanding of management system auditing practices and third-party audit experience is essential.
