HVAC Talent Acquisition Consultant - Remote

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a HVAC Talent Acquisition Consultant for a remote position. This role is based in the U.S.

Compensation: $38.46 per hour

The consultant will be tasked with managing all aspects of recruitment in a dynamic, high-energy setting while enhancing the company's reputation as an employer of choice. Responsibilities include:

Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruitment experience, not limited to sourcing.
  • Establishing a talent network within specific practitioner communities and program development.
  • Taking initiative to assume additional responsibilities to support the company's growth.
  • Screening, interviewing, and managing active candidates.
  • Proactively networking and building effective working relationships.
  • Utilizing social and professional networking platforms to identify and source candidates.
  • Addressing legal and compliance matters related to talent acquisition.
  • Effectively communicating BGIS's employment value proposition, providing insights on job and career advancement opportunities.
  • Selecting, interviewing, qualifying, negotiating offers, and hiring candidates for open positions.
  • Adding value during the offer stage by understanding candidate decision triggers.
  • Taking the lead in driving solutions to recruitment challenges.
  • Demonstrating a strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Tracking candidate workflows, sourcing data, pre-screen information, and other required metrics.
  • Creating Boolean and complex search strings in both paid job boards and standard search engines.
  • Maintaining all relevant applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (Oracle Recruiting Cloud).
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team and thriving as an independent contributor.
  • Managing approximately 20-30 requisitions concurrently with attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Handling multiple tasks and completing assignments within established timelines.
  • Communicating effectively with all levels of management and associates.
  • Exhibiting flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and priorities.
  • Managing additional HR projects as needed.

Development Responsibilities:

  • Developing creative strategies to attract quality candidates.
  • Building a reputation for exceptional candidate generation through dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners.
  • Providing high-quality customer service and establishing a long-term talent pipeline to support future growth.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to facilitate the interview process, including scheduling, debriefs, and offer negotiations.
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates and providing feedback to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in recruiting skilled trades (electricians, HVAC/refrigeration).
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio); working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Extensive networking capabilities and knowledge of leading search practices.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Familiarity with multi-state and federal employment laws/regulations (EEO, ADA, OFCCP) preferred.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience in military/veteran recruiting is advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Ability to drive to job and recruitment sites.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
