JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician II who will be responsible for conducting on-site maintenance and repairs of industrial processing equipment at our facility. This role requires a mechanically skilled individual with a strong commitment to health and safety practices.

Key Details:
  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $40, with overtime opportunities (subject to approval)
  • Weekly pay schedule
  • Work schedule consists of 5 to 9-hour shifts per week, following a rotating pattern of one week of nights and four weeks of days

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform maintenance tasks including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, basic pipe installations, electrical work, and forklift operations
  • Conduct basic and intermediate repairs in welding, electrical systems, pipe fitting, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Oversee the work of junior maintenance staff on larger projects
  • Independently manage facility projects and maintenance tasks
  • Operate forklifts as required, ensuring daily safety checks are performed
  • Review and complete necessary standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain compliance with area-specific permit requirements
  • Understand and adhere to Clean Compliance Standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hydraulic system repairs
  • Industrial maintenance experience is essential
  • Experience with heavy equipment repairs
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to operate a cutting rig
  • Successful completion of mechanical aptitude testing
  • Proficient in computer systems and software
  • Familiarity with the latest industry technologies and electronics
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available
