JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean Harbors is currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician II. This role is essential for conducting on-site maintenance and repairs of industrial processing equipment at our facility. We are in search of a mechanically skilled individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and acting safely at all times.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, basic pipe installations, electrical work, and forklift operations.
  • Perform basic to intermediate repairs in welding, electrical systems, pipe fitting, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Oversee the activities of junior maintenance staff during complex maintenance tasks.
  • Independently manage facility projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate forklifts as required, ensuring daily safety checks are completed prior to operation.
  • Review and complete all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated quizzes.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with area-specific permit requirements.
  • Familiarize with Clean Compliance Standards.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in hydraulic system repairs.
  • Industrial experience is essential.
  • Experience in heavy equipment repairs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to operate a cutting rig.
  • Must successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing.
  • Proficient in computer systems and technology.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry technologies or experience with electronics.
  • Valid US Driver's License is required.
