JOB DESCRIPTION

At Clean Harbors, we are committed to excellence in our operations. We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician II who will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance and repairs for our industrial processing equipment.

This role requires a mechanically skilled individual with a strong dedication to health and safety standards. The position is based in Kimball, NE, and offers a competitive wage ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, with opportunities for overtime (subject to approval). The work schedule consists of 5 to 9-hour shifts per week, following a 5-week rotation that includes 1 week of night shifts and 4 weeks of day shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize health and safety by following established policies and procedures
  • Conduct maintenance tasks including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, basic pipe installations, electrical work, and forklift operations
  • Perform basic and intermediate repairs in welding, electrical systems, pipe fitting, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Oversee lower-level maintenance personnel during complex maintenance projects
  • Work independently on facility projects and maintenance tasks
  • Operate a forklift as required and ensure safety checks are completed before operation
  • Review and comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Understand and ensure compliance with area-specific permit requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hydraulic system repair
  • Industrial maintenance experience is essential
  • Heavy equipment repair experience is preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency in using cutting rigs
  • Ability to pass mechanical aptitude testing
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with the latest industry technologies
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
