JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician II Procurement who will be engaged in hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, and tank farm management. We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused individual to join our operations team.

Work Schedule: 4-12 hour rotating shifts (days/nights). Night shifts are required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
  • Perform essential plant operations including drum pumping, drum dumping, and tank farm loading/unloading, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Operate forklifts as needed and conduct daily safety checks before operation.
  • Engage in general labor tasks to prepare materials for the incineration process.
  • Complete and submit necessary paperwork for waste tracking and utilize scanning applications for operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Meet or exceed production targets.
  • Understand and comply with Clean Compliance Standards.
  • Review and complete all relevant SOPs and quizzes.
  • Take ownership of area-specific compliance standards.
  • Perform manual tasks such as spill cleanup while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial or manual labor roles.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment is required.
  • Capability to work in various environmental conditions (heat/cold).
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Valid US Driver's License is required.
