About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retention (50%):
    • Develop and implement master strategies for customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and revenue growth.
    • Build and maintain C-suite level relationships with key customers.
    • Drive customer satisfaction indicators such as service level, NPS, and financial objectives.
    • Present and understand key operational resources and build specialized knowledge for customer implementation.
    • Utilize market knowledge of Strategic Accounts and reimbursement trends to provide consultative services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client experiences.
  • Existing Expansion (50%):
    • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within strategic customers.
    • Work across McKesson business units to identify areas of growth in Strategic Accounts.
    • Support and Accelerate category expansion within Strategic Accounts.
    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
    • Track and report on sales activities, progress, and forecasts using CRM tools.
    • Stay informed about industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years in business development within the healthcare distribution market.
  • Experience in Non-Acute Healthcare sales.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.

Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position: $136,800 - $228,000
