Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Hardware Team, you will be responsible for integrating new hardware systems, supporting daily activities related to hardware issues, and maintaining detailed design documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate new hardware systems into our existing infrastructure
  • Support daily activities related to hardware issues, including troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Maintain detailed design documents, including rack drawings, component specifications, and interconnect diagrams
  • Participate in technical reviews and peer reviews to ensure high-quality designs
  • Work under supervision to support larger team goals and objectives
  • Support ad-hoc tasking and stretch assignments as outlined by program technical leaders
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, emphasizing outcomes over metrics, and collaborate with team members to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to operate spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
  • Ability to travel to install sites
  • Experience with hardware installation procedures and knowledge of system lifecycle processes
  • Previous program experience, preferably in the SBIRS or OPIR program
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
  • Willingness to support 24x7 operations
