Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Hardware Team, you will be responsible for integrating new hardware systems, supporting daily activities related to hardware issues, and maintaining detailed design documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate into a new Hardware Team for a new mission
  • Support daily activities regarding hardware issues
  • Maintain detailed design documents to include rack drawings, component specs, and interconnect diagrams
  • Participate in Technical Reviews/Interchanges and Peer Reviews
  • Work under supervision in support of larger team goals
  • Support Ad hoc tasking and stretch assignments as outlined by Program Technical Leaders
  • Assist with continuous improvement, emphasize outcomes over metrics, and be a good teammate
  • Work as part of a technical team of systems engineers, network engineers, system administrators, and radio frequency engineers toward a common goal
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Current HW engineering experience (for example - document reviews, peer reviews, board support, team lead, able to operate spectrum analyzers/ network analyzer, ability to travel to install sites; experience with onsite/lab installation)
  • Previous program Experience (SBIRS or other OPIR program)
  • Security + Certification
  • Must be willing and able to support 24x7 operations
